On Thursday 14th May we will be holding our first virtual partnership event.
The event will run from 11am – 1.30pm with a 1 hour break for lunch.
The purpose of the event is to connect the Active Bradford partnership and hear about work that is happening to support people to be active, as well as hearing what is available locally and nationally to support you in your roles during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Dr John Wright, Bradford Institute of Health Research
John will be giving an overview of the COVID-19 situation in Bradford as well as talking about the work of Born in Bradford to understand the impact of COVID-19 on the families where we live and work.
- Nigel Harrison, Yorkshire Sport Foundation
Nigel will talk about support and current challenges in the sector.
- Jan Burkhardt, JU:MP
Jan will let us know more about the new JU:MP@Home resource for families.
- Sarah Moss, CABAD
Sarah will explain what support is available to those working in the voluntary and community sector.
- Julie Hannan, Sport England
Julie will be talking about the Sport England Community Emergency Fund and other support that is available to sports clubs.
To book onto the session, you will need to be able to access GoToWebinar – more details will be released as soon as we have it all set up so you can make sure you can book on and access this before the day.
