England’s Ping Festival is bouncing into Bradford this summer.
The festival is a part of a national initiative delivered by Table Tennis England and in partnership with Bradford Council.
Free table tennis tables will soon become available at various locations across the district.
Ping! is inspiring people to lead active lives by making the game more accessible with locations in highly social areas.
Their goal is to popularise the game in a fun and lively way. Visitors of all ages are encouraged to join in on the fun for free.
The festival will be launched in Bradford on Sunday 23rd of July from 12 noon-4.30pm.
The Ping! Festival launches in summer but the tables are available for the remainder of the year.
Coun Sarah Ferriby, Bradford Council’s Executive Member for Environment, Sport and Culture, said: “Ping! Festival is a great way for families to come out, be active and socialise. With multiple locations it will be easy to travel, experience different tables and hopefully fall in love with the sport.”
Photo opportunity: photographers are invited to City Park on Sunday 23 July @ 12pm.
