The JU:MP Award Programme offers funding to organisations and community groups across North Bradford that run fun, active projects for children.
Applications are open to constituted community, voluntary and faith organisations whose projects engage less active children between the ages of 5 and 14 in physical activity.
Projects must be delivered between October 2019 and the end of September 2020, with grants available from £500 up to £5,000 dependent on the project. The application form and supporting guidance is here:
Children say that they want fun, informal activities near to where they live and these are the types of physical activities that we are looking to fund: play, dance, sports, martial arts, games, walking, cycling and exploring the outdoors.
So if you have a great idea to get children and young people active, we want to hear from you!
We are running 3 information and networking sessions over the next few weeks where you can meet the team and get face-to-face support with your application:
- 14th August, Manningham Mills Community Centre, 12 – 2pm. Book a place via Eventbrite
